High (blue) stick: 5 shard
Effigy (bronze) stick: 10 shard

Spell Book

A spell book is a collection of magic paper in which spells can be written. Spell books can sometimes be referred to as a “bound collection of scrolls and magic paper.” Magic paper is paper that is imbued with magical energy. The magic paper and the spells in a spell book function as scrolls.
~This is represented by a piece of paper initialed by a Magic Marshal, Rules Marshal, or Member of Rules Team.

Scroll
A scroll is a piece of magic paper with a spell written on it. Scrolls can either be used repeatedly by using the character’s own spell pool, in which case the scroll remains intact. The character also has the option of destroying the scroll to use it, in which case the character doesn’t use his/her own spell pool; however, the scroll is destroyed in this process and must be torn in half to represent this destruction. The character must have spell pool in the school of magic of the spell that is on the scroll to use the scroll, even if he/she is going to destroy the scroll.
~This is represented by a piece of paper initialed by a Magic Marshal, Rules Marshal, or Member of Rules Team.

Material Units
Material Units are units of weapon making material required by some Secondary Skills. These are used primarily in Weapon Smithing and Armor Smithing.
~These are represented by tongue depressors labeled with the material. Each one will be marked with the amount of units. They come in all the varieties of material that weapons and armor do.

Potions
Potions are the result of Alchemy and can come in many forms. The earliest potions are liquid and need to be drunk, so many people represent this by a small bottle with liquid in it. They must be tagged with a potion tag and when a potion is used the tag must be destroyed to represent that the potion is used. Because of player allergies, there is a list of restricted ingredients for use in the physical representations of the potion which can be viewed on the Wytchmourne Forum or obtained via a Rules Marshall. Later forms of potions include edible, in which case a container with the edible “potion” is contained in. Some potions are “exploding potions” … these are represented by magic packets which are thrown. There are also blade contact potions, which are applied to a weapon and only have the tag as a representation. In all cases the tag must be destroyed when the potion is activated to represent the use of the potion.

Device
Devices are the results of Tinkering and can come in many forms. They vary quite a bit and the device should resemble that which it is supposed to be. A small metal box would probably appear just as one would expect: a small metal box. Devices need to have a Device tag to denote what the Device is and whatever statistics it has.
