Wytchmourne has disbanded.

Here are some questions to help you get started.
I)How do you want to act in combat?
a)do you want to be a hand-to-hand fighter?
b)do you want to use ranged weapons?
c)do you want to be a magic caster, to heal or harm?
II)What do you want your character's personality to be?
- how you build your character will influence the personality.

One you have a mental outline follow these basic steps.
1 Pick A Race
There are many different races to play and they all have their perks. They can be seen in the Races section. Under each race will give you a simple explanation of what the race is followed by their racial statistics. Later on you will find out about spending your Primary Points, but for now know that a -cost to something means that you will get a benefit to that specific school of magic or type of weapon. Inversely, a +cost to anything gives you a disadvantage to that field. Your body points are how much damage your character can take before they are unconscious. Racial abilities are ways of spending your Primary Points that only that race has access to. (Every race gets a -1 cost to their own racial abilities)
2 Spend Your Primary Points
A general overview can be seen under the Primary Points section. Nearly all races start of as a '20/20' (except Imperials who get a bonus 10 primary and secondary). This means that you have 20 Primary Points to spend (20/20), and you have 20 Secondary Points to spend (20/20). You have three options; Weapon Enhancements, Magic Packets, or Racial Enhancements. They all cost 5 points, unless you have a benefit or deficit from your race.
Weapon Enhancements are described in depth in Weapon Skills. Overall, every odd enhancement gives you the ability to deliver +1 damage to the specific weapon genre. Every even enhancement gives you 3 Battle Pool, which are used for that weapon type's special abilities.
Magic Packets are another route. There are eight schools of magic that you can learn, and each have their own characteristic. The different schools are Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Life, Death, Ether, and Effigy. Magic is described in detail on the Magic page and you can view each magic school's Basic Spell Book as well.
Racial Enhancements vary from race and are listed in Races section.
3 Spend Your Secondary Points
A secondary overview can be seen on the Secondary Skills page.
4 Figure Out Your Character's Personality & Back Story
It may help you to contact one of us who will give you more information on your race. Wytchmourne is a politically charged place at the moment, and some races simply don't like other races. Although not mandatory, your character write up is encouraged and should be sent to plot team. You have the potential to gain a special bonus when plot team receives your back story.
