BASIC SPELL BOOKS

FIRE

"With the ever burning pyre I ..."

Flame Strike (Innate Spell)
Incant: "...strike you with flame. *25 Fire*"
Cost: 2 sp
Effect: Deals 25 fire damage.

Infernal Blast
Incant: "...summon the infernal blast. *50 Fire*"
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Deals 50 fire damage.

Incinerate
Incant: "...incinerate your form. *75 Fire*"
Cost: 6 sp
Effect: Deals 75 fire damage.

Melt Weapon

Incant: "...melt your [item]."
Cost: 5 sp
Effect: Shatter attempt on carried weapon. The caster does not have to specify an item, but if he/she does not it is the recipient's choice as to which weapon is melted. This spell affects basic material and steel weapons only.

Destroy Armor
Incant: "...destroy your armor."
Cost: 5 sp
Effect: Armor total reduced to 0, and the armor takes 5 breaches.

AIR
"With the furious skies I..."

Spark
(Innate Spell)
Incant: "Spark *12 Volt*"
Cost: 2 sp
Effect: Deals 12 lightning damage.

Shock

Incant: "Shock *25 Volt*"
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Deals 25 lightning damage.

Static Charge
Incant: "...summon a static charge."
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Stores electricity in the character's body, allowing the caster to throw 10 *5 Charge* packets over the next 5 minutes. Casting any other spell after casting this one causes this spell to deactivate.

Electrify Weapon
Incant: "Electrify Weapon *Disarm [item]*"
Cost: 3 sp
Effect: Electrifies the recipient's weapon, making him/her unable to carry or use it for the next 3 seconds. The caster does not have to specify an item, but if they do not it is the recipient's choice as to which weapon is disarmed.

Thunder Clap
incant: "Thunder Clap *Stun 3 Seconds*"
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Recipient cannot run/walk, attack, or cast, however the recipient may defend. The stun lasts for 3 seconds.

WATER

Frost Armor (Innate Spell)
Incant: "...craft a frozen shell. *10 Armor*"
Cost: 1 sp
Effect: Recipient gains 10 armor that cannot be repaired and that has no breaches. This is temporary armor that is hit before the character's regular armor.

Chill Skin
Incant: "...chill your skin. *2 Strength*"
Cost: 2 sp
Effect: Recipient gains -2 Strength for 5 minutes. This stacks with other similar buffs and debuffs, though only one of any variety can affect a character at a given time.

Chill Blood

Incant: "...chill your blood. *4 Strength*"
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Recipient gains -4 Strength for 5 minutes. This stacks with other similar buffs and debuffs, though only one of any variety can affect a character at a given time.

Numbness
Incant: "...numb your form. *Slow*"
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Recipient cannot run, attack, or cast for 10 seconds. Recipient may walk or run while affected.

Trip
Incant: "...glaze your steps with ice. *Trip*"
Cost: 2 sp
Effect: Recipient falls onto the ground prone, his/her butt and shoulder must touch the ground simultaneously for 3 seconds before he/she can rise again.

EARTH

Stone Skin
(Innate Spell)
Incant: "...grant you skin of stone. *10 Body*"
Cost: 1 sp
Effect: Recipient gains 10 additional body points. This is temporary body that is hit before the character's regular body.

Stone's Strength

Incant: "...grant you the strength of stone. *2 Strength*"
Cost: 2 sp
Effect: Recipient gains +2 Strength for 5 minutes. This stacks with other similar buffs and debuffs, though only one of any variety can affect a character at a given time.

Iron's Strength

Incant: "...grant you the strength of iron. *4 Strength*"
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Recipient gains +4 Strength for 5 minutes. This stacks with other similar buffs and debuffs, though only one of any variety can affect a character at a given time.

Steel's Strength
Incant: "...grant you the strength of steel. *6 Strength*"
Cost: 6 sp
Effect: Recipient gains +6 Strength for 5 minutes. This stacks with other similar buffs and debuffs, though only one of any variety can affect a character at a given time.

Root

Incant: "...root your [left/right] foot. *Foot Pin*"
Cost: 3 sp
Effect: Recipient's foot is rooted to the ground for 1 minute. The foot can only be moved from the ground with a 3 second +2 strength (or higher) count or by dealing 10 damage to the affected foot. The caster does not have to specify a foot, but if he/she does not it is the recipient's choice as to which foot is pinned.


DEATH

Twisting Touch

Cost: 1 sp
Effect: Deals 8 death damage.

Black Spire

Incant: "...open your wounds. *24 Death*"
Cost: 3 sp
Effect: Deals 24 death damage.

Veil's Grasp

Incant: "...evoke your suffering. *40 Death*"
Cost: 5 sp
Effect: Deals 40 death damage.

Wither Limb

Incant: "...wither your [limb]."
Cost: 5 sp
Effect: Withers the recipient's limb. The limb is not removed merely hanging there uselessly. The caster does not have to specify a limb, but if he/she does not it is the recipient's choice as to which limb is withered. This spell restores Undead limbs.

Death's Touch

Incant: "Death's Touch. *2 Death*"
Cost: 1 sp
Effect: Deals 2 death damage.

LIFE

Ease Pain

Effect: Deals 8 life damage.

Mend Wounds

Effect: Deals 24 life damage.

Remove Suffering

Effect: Deals 40 life damage.

Restore Limb

Cost: 5 sp
Effect: Restores the recipient's limb. The caster does not have to specify a limb, but if he/she does not it is the recipient's choice as to which limb is restored. This spell withers Undead limbs.

Life's Touch

Incant: "Life's Touch. *2 Life*"
Cost: 1 sp
Effect: Deals 2 life damage.

ETHER

"With power from beyond the veil I..."

Charm
(Innate Spell)
Incant: "...stay your hand. *Charm 1 Minute*"
Cost: 3 sp
Effect: Recipient no longer sees the caster as an immediate threat for 1 minute. This spell does not make the recipient change his/her opinion of the caster, he/s just doesn't see the need to attack, chase, follow, or take any hostile action toward the caster for 1 minute. The recipient can still defend against attacks of any variety from the caster, and if the caster does attack him/her, the spell is broken.

Fear
Incant: "...fill your heart with terror. *Fear 1 Minute*"
Cost: 6 sp
Effect: Recipient is irrationally afraid of the caster for 1 minute. The recipient must run screaming towards the closest possible escape whenever the caster is visible to him/her.

Berserk

Incant: "...stir a lust for blood. *Berserk 1 Minute*"
Cost: 6 sp
Effect: Recipient attacks nearest viable target to the best of his/her ability for 1 minute.

Command

Incant: "...command you. [Three Word Command]"
Cost: 10 sp
Effect: Recipient follows three word command given to him/her to the best of his/her ability for 1 minute.

Truth Speak
Incant: "...remove falsehood from your words. *Truth Speak 5 Minutes*"
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Recipient, though not forced to communicate, will only communicate truthfully for 5 minutes in all forms of communication.

EFFIGY

"With steam and steel from ages past I..."

Steel Weapon
(Innate Spell)
Incant: "...turn your [item] to steel. *5 minutes*"
Cost: 2 sp
Effect: Recipient's weapon gains all properties of a steel weapon except the resist for 5 minutes. This spell does not work on Natural weapons. The caster does not have to specify an item, but if he/she does not it is the recipient's choice as to which weapon is turned to steel.

Armor Mend

Incant: "...mend your armor."
Cost: 4 sp
Effect: Recipient's armor repaired to full. This does not restore any breaches.

Tinker

Incant: "...tinker with your mechanics. *5 Effigy*"
Cost: 1 sp
Effect: Recipient gains 5 Effigy body. This spell only affects Effigy characters.

Repair

Incant: "...fix your gears. *15 effigy*"
Cost: 3 sp
Effect: Recipient gains 15 Effigy body. This spell only affects Effigy characters..

Light
Incant: "...craft a beacon of light."
Cost: 1 sp
Effect: Creates a light. The recipient must have a physical representation that emits actual light.
